WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Early Friday morning around 1:30 West Allis Police tried to stop a suspicious car. The car did not stop and West Allis Police officers began chasing the car near 108th and Lapham.
Officers successfully deployed stop sticks as the car drove east on Greenfield Avenue. The car came to a stop near 81st and Orchard and the driver and passenger fled on foot.
Both suspects were arrested by officers after a short foot chase.
The driver was identified as a 23-year-old man from Menomonee Falls and was arrested for eluding, resisting an officer, OWI, operating with a revoked license and possession of drug paraphernalia. The passenger was identified as a 19-year-old woman from West Allis who was arrested for possession of cocaine.
