Turkey prices on the rise

It may cost a little more to get your Thanksgiving dinner on the table this year.

Turkey production is down and prices are up.

According to the Department of Agriculture the average price is $1.18-cents, per pound of turkey.

That's up $0.15 from last year.

Luckily, you may not feel the pinch at the grocery store

Experts say retailers are often willing to take a loss on the turkey, because customers will spend more for other items like potatoes and cranberries.
