Train hits pickup truck stuck on tracks in Washington County

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A train hit a pickup truck that was stuck on the tracks in Washington County on Tuesday evening.

According to the Richfield Volunteer Fire Department, the crash happened on Bark Lake Road and Scenic Road. The train struck the truck causing it to be fully engulfed and pushed it for roughly 3/4 of a mile.

There were no injuries reported.

It took the fire department approximately two hours to put the fire out.

The train was carrying goods and no one aside from the conductor was on board at the time.
