2 hurt in rollover crash on I-94 in Waukesha County
WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Two people were hurt in a violent rollover crash on I-94 Friday, Jan. 29.
It happened near Elm Grove Road about 7:30 a.m.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation said a car was traveling at a high rate of speed when it hit a median wall, a freeway sign, and then split in two.
A child passenger was ejected and treated at Children's Wisconsin for non-life threatening injuries.
The driver was treated at Froedtert Medical Center for what are also said to be non-life threatening injuries.
Traffic was snarled for hours in both directions.
The crash has since been cleared.
