It's been very dry around southeast Wisconsin for the last few months. We may sound like a broken record, but we need some rain. Right now Milwaukee is running as the 4th driest Spring through the middle of May with exactly 3" of rainfall.
Rain chances for the weekend are starting to become a little more clear with Saturday looking like the day when we might see a few showers but Friday and Sunday staying dry. Sunday may even see some decent sunshine.
The timing of Saturday's rain chance is a little more difficult to pinpoint but right now some showers look possible in the morning, afternoon and evening. This is not a washout rain and even if you get stuck under a shower at a soccer game an umbrella will do just fine.
Any rain that we do get on Saturday won't amount to much with most seeing about a tenth of an inch to a quarter inch for the lucky ones. A nice rain that may let you not water your plants for a day but not much more than that.
Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather app to use the interactive radar to track the showers as they approach.
