MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Community Smiles Dental is encouraging support for children’s oral health through Tooth Fairy Day, a giving campaign taking place Friday, Aug. 22.
Scott Marshall, CEO of Community Smiles Dental, and Emma Thomas, who appeared as the Tooth Fairy, joined us on Friday to promote the idea of Tooth Fairy Day. All donations made at ToothFairyDay.org will be matched up to $10,000 by an anonymous donor.
Funds raised will support dental care for children. Community Smiles Dental serves more than 4,500 patients annually, with a mission to ensure all children have access to early, ongoing dental care.
Organizers say National Tooth Fairy Day offers an opportunity to start conversations about oral hygiene and the importance of caring for adult teeth as they emerge.
