Tony Evers takes part in education panel at Concordia University
Educators unite in an effort to prevent a teacher shortage from growing in our classrooms.
Current State Superintendent Tony Evers is just one of the people taking part in a special panel discussion at Concordia University.
He say there are some challenges facing education like teacher shortages and figuring out how to best use technology.
He also says there’s a shift in social and emotional learning.
“People entering the profession have to find great ways to interact and have a good relationship with students so that they understand them so they can learn better,” says Evers.
Evers is also considering a run for governor and says right now, things “look promising.”
He says an announcement should be made about a campaign in the next few weeks.
