Toddler Saves Family from House Fire

(WSAW) A Wisconsin family credits a 3-year-old's screams in the middle of the night for saving her family's lives.

"She woke up screaming and it wasn't the normal 'I'm lonely. I need somebody to cuddle with me. It was something is wrong. Somebody needs to get out here,” said the 3-year-old’s parent.

The screaming toddler alerted the family to a fire in their Wausau duplex.

Flames were shooting through the roof.

They got out safely and called 9-1-1.

The Mathein's said if not for their daughter's screams, the situation could have been much worse.
