Three Teens Arrested for Strong Armed Robbery on South Side
Officers from the Milwaukee Police Department’s District Two and Neighborhood Task Force arrested three teenage suspects for a strong armed robbery on the South Side. A Neighborhood Task Force sergeant was on patrol in the 1500 block of South 1st Street around 8:50 PM on November 20 when she saw a group of young men punching and kicking a male victim.
The suspects fled when the sergeant arrived on scene but she was quickly able to arrest one of them. The victim told officers he was riding his bicycle when the group approached him, struck him, and stole several of his belongings. The other two suspects were taken into custody a short distance later and one of the suspects had the victim’s belongings on his person.
The suspects are all 16-years-old and from Milwaukee. MPD will present this case to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
