Three Teenagers Arrested in Attempted Carjacking

Three teenagers, one as young at 13, have been arrested by the Brown Deer Police Department and are facing charges in connection with an attempted carjacking.   Around 4:30 Wednesday afternoon, the Brown Deer Police received a call of an attempted carjacking in the parking lot of the Green Brook Professional Building.  According to the Police, an employee was threatened if she  did not give up the keys to her vehicle.  The woman ran away  and called police.  The suspects then fled the scene in a blue minivan. 

The Brown Deer Police then received a call of a second theft from a vehicle and a report of not one, but two blue minivans driving erratically on W Brown Deer Road.  Brown Deer Offices spotted the vehicles and began a pursuit through several jurisdictions  and involving a number of North Shore Police agencies. 

One of the minivans was stopped on N Green Bay Road near W Silver Spring Drive and three juveniles were arrested.  The second minivan was later found in Milwaukee unoccupied and no arrests were made.  It was later learned that both minivans were stolen in Milwaukee and may have been involved in several crimes.

According to the Brown Deer Police, two of the juveniles arrested are 16-years-old and one is only 13-years-old.  All are from Milwaukee.  One of the juveniles is on probation and was wanted on a warrant.  Another is suspected in a bank robbery.  All three are facing additional charges for the Brown Deer incident.
