Three Teenagers Arrested for Allegedly Carjacking an Elderly Couple on Milwaukee's South Side

Three teenagers were arrested for carjacking an elderly couple on Milwaukee’s South Side on Wednesday.

According to a release by police, officers responded to the area of S. 76th Street and W. Howard Avenue around 5:15 p.m. on where two victims, an 80-year-old woman and her 76-year-old husband, reported a carjacking.

The couple exited their 2003 Chevrolet Malibu when they were approached by four suspects. One of the suspects grabbed the car keys from the woman and with the other three suspects drove off in the Malibu.

A short time later, the car crashed in the 7500 block of W. Jackson Drive and with the help of an alert citizen, officers from the West Allis Police Department quickly arrested three of the four suspects.

The suspects are a 13-year-old male and two 14-year-old males who are now in MPD custody. Milwaukee Police continue to seek the fourth suspect .
