Three Separate Shootings in Milwaukee Sunday
Milwaukee Police are investigating three separate shootings that happened Sunday, one of them involving a little girl.
A 3-year-old girl is in a local hospital this morning with what is described by officials as a serious gunshot wound. The girl was injured around 8:50 PM Sunday when she was struck by a bullet as she was seated in an automobile near N 25th and W Hadley Streets. According to the Milwaukee Police, a large argument occurred on the street and three shots were fired, one of which struck the girl. She was taken by her mother to the hospital. Officials believed she will survive. A second individual, a 17-year-old male walked into another hospital suffering from a non-life threatening injury.
Earlier in the day, a 19-year-old Milwaukee man was shot during an argument with an unknown subject or subjects. The shooting occurred around 12:55 PM in the area of N 56th Street and W Auer Avenue. The 19-year-old was taken to a local hospital for treatment for what is reported to be a serious injury.
Around 10:22 PM Sunday, a third shooting incident occurred, this one in the area of N 38th Street and W Meinecke Ave. According to the Milwaukee Police, the man was walking down the street when he heard gunshots and realized he had been struck. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening injury.
