Three Milwaukee Restaurants Serving Free Meals and Giving Gifts at Homeless Shelters

It's one of the most unique charity events Milwaukee has ever seen.

Three of Milwaukee's best restaurants are serving free meals at homeless shelters and passing out gifts over the next three days.

They are calling it the "Three Days of Christmas.”

Bel Air Cantina and Calderone Club are involved, but it all starts tonight at sojourner truth house, where residents will dine on food catered by the Carnevor steak house.

"For the first dinner here at Sojourner, we're gonna be cooking prime steaks and truffled mashed potatoes and a holiday dessert so this a high-end dinner that these people are getting, just like people would get when they come in to Carnevor and we've secured corporate sponsorship, y'know, Associated Bank, Kohl's, Phoenix Investors to acquire over $15,000 in gift cards and presents and blankets and things like that,” said Omar Shaikh.

Donald Driver, Randall Cobb and Ryan Braun have teamed up to donate some of the items including hats and books and plush toys and bobble heads.
