Three Injured in Two Separate Shootings on City's Northwest Side

Three people suffered gunshot wounds in two separate shootings on the city's northwest side Saturday afternoon. All three victims are expected to survive their injuries.

The first shooting occurred in the area of 2400 N. 28th Street at about 12:45 p.m. A 24-year-old male was walking to a store when he spotted a suspicious individual. The victim believed he was going to be robbed so he started running and as he fled, he was shot.

The victim was treated by the Milwaukee Fire Department at the scene and taken to a local hospital. No suspect has been located in this shooting.

The second shooting occurred in the area of 6700 W. Chambers at about 2:50 p.m. A dispute between several people became physical and during the fight a known suspect armed himself with a gun, shooting two victims.

The victims, both males, ages 31 and 34, both received gunshot wounds. They were treated on scene and then taken to a local hospital. 

Milwaukee Police Department is looking for the known suspect.
