Thousands still without power in southeast Wisconsin following Tuesday afternoon storms

SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Crews are still working to restore power in southeast Wisconsin, nearly 24 hours after major storms Tuesday. 

According to We Energies, more than 12,000 customers are without power. Dodge, Fond du Lac, Ozaukee, and Washington Counties were the hardest hit areas.

Alliant Energy's outage map showed about 2,300 customers are still without power in Fond du Lac County. Alliant Energy customers can monitor outages by clicking here.

SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Hours after powerful storms came through Tuesday, thousands are still without power across Wisconsin. 

The hardest hit counties include Dodge, Fond du Lac, Ozaukee, Sheboygan, and Washington, with about 15,000 customers still in the dark.

Dodge - 3,273 without power

Fond du Lac - 4,242 without power

Ozaukee - 2, 208 without power

Sheboygan - 4,389 without power

Washington - 1,123 without power

SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- More than 17,000 are without power after storms rolled through Tuesday afternoon.

According to We Energies, about 3,600 are without power in Fond du Lac County, 3,300 are without power in Dodge County, 2,200 are without power in Ozaukee County, another 4,600 are without power in Sheboygan County, and 3,200 in Washington County do not have power. 

Alliant Energy reports that 4,200 are without power in Fond du Lac County, another 1,000 in Dodge County, and 3,200 in Sheboygan County.
