MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- More than 400 kids made their way to Miller Park on Wednesday to tailgate and go to the Brewers vs. Twins game.
The kids were from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee.
The day started off with a tailgate that included mac and cheese, corn dogs and chicken tenders. Once they went inside, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee was given a check from U.S. Cellular and the Brewers Community Foundation to go toward its summer baseball leagues.
"Most of the kids, you know, they don't have baseball gloves or bats or the items necessary to play the game," Randy Hogan with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee said. "So those funds really help us uniform the kids and equip the kids to play the game."
Hogan said for many of the kids, it was their first time at Miller Park.
