MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Make Art MKE founder Mike Bate joined us Wednesday, Sept. 9 to preview the annual art festival, returning to Mount Mary University on Sunday, Sept. 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event, held on the Sunday after Labor Day for more than 50 years, features about 167 artists and small businesses, along with a free food court, live music at Miss Molly's Cafe outdoor lounge and a mobile pet grooming service. Art Club MKE will also host a free, open-to-all art-making session on site.
Volunteers can attend for free. Proceeds from ticket sales benefit Friends of Cooper Park and the Milwaukee German Immersion School PTA.
