MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It was a rainy late afternoon ahead of Game Two against the Celtics.
Instead of gathering at the plaza, dozens of fans gathered at nearby bars and restaurants.
“I am excited to see the Bucks blow them away. I think they are upset about what happened, they were not aggressive enough," said Mark Paschen, fan.
The Mecca Sports Bar and Grill is right across from Fiserv Forum. It is currently open for dinner with limited hours as part of a soft open.
"This is about total immersion come, eat, try it out this is the place to be," said Peter Feigin, Bucks president.
The new establishment features a 38-foot TV and two full-size bars.
"Everything we are doing here is really unique labor of love that's really elevating the sports bar arena," said Matt Kerley, Executive Chief.
The Mecca Sports Bar and Grill will be open from 4 p.m. until midnight Sunday through Thursday and 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday up until Sunday, May 12. Starting May 13, it will be open Sunday through Thursday 11 a.m. to midnight and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday through Saturday.
The grand opening will be on Friday, May 3.
