MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --Two teens are in custody in connection to the abduction of 3-month-old Anthony Crudup Jr.  A 14-year old girl and 16-year-girl will face charges.

It was an act of kindness that ended in betrayal.

"They took my baby. They wrapped him up in his cover and took him," Crudup Jr.'s mother said.

She did not want to be identified, but she says she is counting her blessings.

"I learned my lesson. I can't trust nobody," she said. "They really deceived me. They lied to me."

Late Tuesday evening, March 22, she met two teens at the liquor store. She says she did not know them.

"They was telling me that was getting molested, they were being trafficked."

She brought them back to her home, hoping to be a temporary safe haven until someone was able to pick them up. The story takes a drastic turn after midnight.

She woke up and baby Anthony and the girls were gone.

"Why would they take your 3-month-old?" asked CBS 58's Winnie Dortch.

"I guess apparently one of the girls wanted to act like she was pregnant or wanted to act like it was her baby."

The Amber Alert was sent out at 7 in the morning.

"I was looking everywhere for my baby. I was looking in the dumpsters. I looked in the washers, dryers, ovens. I looked by the creek. I didn’t know what they did with my son."

Around 1 p.m. on Wednesday, investigators were led to a home on 44th and Fiebrantz. Baby Anthony was found safe inside. Several people were escorted out in handcuffs.

"I am pressing charges and I am going to make sure they stay in jail. That wasn't right, anything could've happened to my baby."

A 19-year-old Milwaukee man, 33-year-old Milwaukee man and 56-year-old Milwaukee man were arrested on unrelated charges.

Charges will be referred to Milwaukee County District Attorney's office in the coming days.
