The Warm Wanes But Not The Rains

We hang onto our warm weather one more day as highs in Milwaukee and southeast Wisconsin this Tuesday float around 70°.  The risk for showers and some thunder is there, mostly overnight, easing during the commute time Wednesday morning.

A cold front drops down from the north on Wednesday, and the winds shift to the northeast.  This will allow temperatures hold steady in the 50s to around 60°. Not as warm on the day tomorrow, but still a whopping fifteen to twenty degrees above the normal high of 40°  Moving ahead to Thursday, an area of low pressure comes up from the south, keeping the showers going late Wednesday into early Thursday.  Rain totals will generally be between a half and three quarters of an inch.

The rain then shuts off for a while before another system gives us more showers next weekend.  Highs both weekend days should be in the lower 50s. Shower chances will be around late Saturday and on and off Sunday. Right now Saturday looks like the pick day of the weekend to get outside.
