MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Fans on Water Street say bad weather would not keep them away from celebrating the Milwaukee Bucks, some adding they have waited for this moment since they were little kids.

Fans tell CBS 58 that Wednesday's weather did not stop them from cheering on the team for Game 4 of the NBA Finals on July 14.

"I've waited my whole life for this," Bucks fan Jack Dwyer said. "Bucks finally in the finals. We're gonna even it out tonight. Win the next two. Win in six."

Whether you are from Milwaukee or elsewhere, fans from all over have come to Water Street to cheer on the Bucks.

"I'm so excited," Bucks fan Valerie Burda said. "We are not from here, but it is good to see the city, you know, explore, and be all out for the Bucks."

Dwyer echoed those comments. 

"The energy and the electric atmosphere is just through the roof," he said. "Fiserv Forum is gonna burn down when we win. I mean, Milwaukee is just feeling great."

Eyes all over the world are focusing on the Milwaukee Bucks, and it has natives proud of their city. Many are supporting local businesses on Water Street.

"I think it's crazy. We live just a few block away, but I'm super proud of this city," Bucks fan Brooke Berglund said. "I like that everyone's coming here right now."

Morgan Bregitzer said she loves the hype of it.

"I love you just look out your windows and you just see green," she said. "I love living downtown."

Fans on Water Street are feeling confident that the Bucks will take home the win this series.

"This city's been waiting for this since Giannis was drafted," Mitch Sutton said. "We came prepared for a finals W."

Water Street was hustling and bustling on Wednesday night. Thankfully, the rain held off and that encouraged fans to stay out and cheer on the Bucks even harder.
