MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--It’s Summerfest sadness for so many of us today. This is the first time in 53 years the Big Gig isn't happening because of the Coronavirus. 54-year old Art Frey from Greendale says this day won’t go unnoticed. He’s gone every year for at least the last 15. He has all the memorabilia to prove it. The pins, the lucky t-shirt, the actual headline in the newspaper. And while he goes for the music and food, there’s really one thing he’ll miss the most. It's being here with his friends. Fry insists he’ll be back next year. After all, he has his Summerfest Power Pass to use.
Some acts have already committed for next year. To see who they are and find out about the event's refund policy for this year's concerts, just click here.
