The Christmas forecast gets a little clearer one week out
Milwaukee (CBS 58)--It's the big question this time of the year. Will we see a white Christmas? Obviously, it's a week away, but we're getting a better idea. One reliable computer model, the Euro, is hinting at some accumulating snow on the holiday itself. Keep in mind this is one computer run. But it's still something to think about as we get closer.
In the meantime, we have a few dry days ahead before our next system impacts the forecast, mainly forecast. Showers could break out as early as Wednesday evening. But the lion's share of precipitation happens Thursday. Look for mainly light rain, but there could be some wintry mix at times, especially in the evening behind a cold front.
Friday and Saturday look dry and then there's a chance for light snow both Sunday and Christmas Day as well. Again, there's a lot of time between now and then so keep checking back with the CBS 58 Ready Weather team on what we can expect.
