Texas cop trips students rushing the field

TEXAS -- A Texas police officer is in hot water after he trips a high school student rushing the field. Several students can be seen in an amateur video rushing the field after the girl's soccer team wins the state championship.

The office seen tripping and pushing students is on paid administrative leave pending an investigation.

A school district spokeswoman says she couldn't say specifically what punishment if any would be dished out to students who ran onto the field. She did say this was a first for her school district, and there's nothing in the school's code of conduct about rushing the field.
