Tenants Displaced after Fire at Large Apartment Complex in Menomonee Falls

Menomonee Falls Fire Department responded to a fire at an apartment complex around 11:00 AM Sunday morning. There were 36 units in the complex and six of the units were damaged from the fire according to the fire department. 

According to the American Red Cross most of the units impacted only had one person in them but one unit did have a child. The Red Cross is helping the displaced tenants.

Nine area fire departments responded to the fire. No injuries to the public or firefighters was reported. All of the units had working smoke alarms.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown and under investigation.
