(KENOSHA) The first known published crossword puzzle appeared in the New York World Sunday newspaper in 1913. Now, more than a century later, puzzlers still enjoy this head-scratching tradition that studies show can improve your memory, vocabulary and general knowledge.
Some people are better at untangling cryptic clues than others including a Kenosha County teenager who, after completing his first crossword just a few months ago, is now constructing his own for solvers to enjoy, if not agonize over for the Kenosha News.
On CBS 58 Sunday Morning, Tori Bokios met 18-year old Logan Sperling to find out some clues to his success.
