Team Rubicon prepares meal kits for Milwaukee-area food pantries

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It's important now more than ever to make sure people have access to safe, nutritious food. 

That's where Team Rubicon comes in.

Team Rubicon focuses on serving people directly affected by disaster, and it's shifting gears to help those affected by the pandemic.

It has deployed to the Milwaukee area and is putting together meal kits to donate to local food pantries.

"There's everything from avocados to mushrooms to canned peas and carrots...everything to make meals," said Territory Associate John Stuhlmacher.

Team Rubicon is always looking for more volunteers.
