Sweet tradition: Badgers back in the Sweet 16 after beating Oregon

Wisconsin used a late 10-2 run to pull away from Oregon 72-65 Sunday night and secure a spot in the Sweet Sixteen for the fourth time in five years.

Sam Dekker's 17 points and Frank Kaminsky's 16 paced Wisconsin, who were pestered by the Ducks all night. The Badgers lead was just three at the half, and Oregon tied the game on Dwayne Benjamin's three pointer with less than six minutes to play. But a combination of strong defense and efficient shooting helped Wisconsin pull away from Oregon in the final minutes.

Wisconsin is now 7-1 in NCAA Tournament games over the last two years. They'll play North Carolina in Los Angeles at 6:47 Thursday in the Sweet 16. With a win, Wisconsin moves on to the Elite Eight and a possible rematch with Arizona from the same round in the 2014 Tournament.
