Officials: 50-year-old woman stabs husband to death in Town of Kewaskum

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 50 year-old Town of Kewaskum woman has been arrested for first degree intentional homicide in the death of her 43-year-old husband during a domestic dispute Wednesday, March 11.

The sheriff's office was called to the home around 9:20 a.m. after receiving a 911 call from the suspect, who was arrested at the scene. 

The victim was found deceased inside the home. A preliminary investigation indicates he was stabbed during the altercation.

The sheriff's office will be requesting charges once the investigation is complete.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Authorities are investigating a suspicious death in the Town of Kewaskum. 

Authorities were called to the scene around 9:20 a.m. on Wednesday, March 11. 

According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, the only person of interest is in custody. 

This is an active investigation. Officials are confident there isn't an ongoing threat to the community.
