Suspect vehicle released in theft of lynx from Walworth County Zoo

Town of Delevan Police has released more information on the suspect accused of stealing two baby Siberian Lynx Monday morning from the Walworth County Zoo.

The truck wanted in connection with the case is a Dodge Ram 1500 Rumble Bee edition which has a yellow scoop on the hood. The truck is relatively rare and was manufactured in 2004 and 2005 with less than 3,000 black trucks made nationwide. Police say it is possible to mimic the special edition with striping and a decal, but the truck is very uncommon.

By Tuesday morning two eight week old lynx, Mowgli, and Baloo were gone. There was no sign someone broke in, but trainers say the cage was closed and latched, indicating the animals didn't escape.

Employees say it could be too late. The lynx, which is valuable and can be sold for thousands, require a special diet and regular feedings.
