RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A suspect is still on the run after an officer-involved shooting Thursday night in Racine.
Police say they were looking for a wanted man in the area of 16th and Boyd just before 8:30 p.m. The officer who responded to the scene was getting out of his squad car when the suspect got into his car and started driving towards the officer. That's when the officer shot at the car and the man drove off. The officer was not hurt during the shooting.
Police are still looking for the man and the car. The officer is a five year veteran of the department. He's been placed on administrative leave. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
