Suspect accused of sexually assaulting UW student pleads not guilty

DANE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) graduate accused of sexually assaulting a UW-Madison student pleaded not guilty in court on Tuesday, Oct. 17.
Dane County officials say the attack happened last month.
Court documents show 26-year-old Brandon Thompson told investigators he went into a rage and didn't know what was going on.
Thompson's pretrial hearing is scheduled for December.
