Sun to Showers on This Friday The 13th!

This is one of those days you have to think hard about how to dress and accessorize.  You need the sunglasses this morning but not the afternoon.  In fact, umbrellas will be needed by the middle of the afternoon as a storm system arrives from the upper Midwest.  Look for rainy skies through mid-evening, but it should get drier by midnight.

Rainfall amounts between half and three quarters of an inch look to be common with this system.  Then we shut things off for the weekend although we can't rule out a few sprinkles Saturday afternoon.  Not many though.  Actually, frost will be a possibility, especially in outlying areas early Sunday with temperatures between 32 and 35.  Remember to cover the tender plants and vegetation and then uncover them by mid-morning Sunday.

Rain chances increase by Tuesday.  Highs stay in the 50s and 60s.
