Heat wave continues with near record highs Tuesday and Wednesday
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--It seems we go from one season to the next, just like that. Our spring/fall like weather will quickly switch back to summertime mode as soon as Tuesday evening. Look for highs near 80 on Tuesday. The afternoon will improve in terms of sky conditions as low pressure pulls to the east.
Don't get used to the quiet weather because our storm chances will increase into Wednesday evening. In fact we could see some strong to severe weather. There's even a "slight" risk of severe weather just to the north and west of Milwaukee. This timing isn't great as people gather around the Deer District for the big Bucks game. We could see rounds of heavy rain and thunderstorms into Thursday. The rainfall amounts could easily exceed several inches. Stay tuned to CBS 58 on air and online for updated information.
