MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Thousands headed to the Summerfest grounds to listen to some big names like the Killers and Death Cab for Cutie on day nine of Summerfest. But the Big Gig doesn't have the only music spotlight this weekend, as Ariana Grande performed at the Fiserv Forum Friday night.
The Summerfest grounds were packed for the last weekend of Summerfest. With only two days left, people took in as much music as they could. The grounds were full of fans ready to jam out to their favorite bands and hang out alongside the 60' tall unicorn floating in the Summerfest Lagoon Friday.
With Ariana Grande performing the same night, people were excited outside of Fiserv Forum too. Concert-goers wearing high ponytails and glitter lined up in the Deer District.
"The brand new Fiserv Forum is bringing a lot of artists in," said Summerfest attendee Joshua Mitchell. "And I think American Family taking over is bringing bigger artists than we would have seen in the past."
This weekend's full of big headliners, like Billie Eilish, Lil Wayne, Schoolboy Q, and Snoop Dogg at Summerfest.
"I think Milwaukee is always an underrated city," Ariana Grande fan Kirsten Tenpenny said. "I think with so much going on, especially with music, Milwaukee is growing and becoming so prosperous."
