We had a few rounds of scattered showers roll through southeast Wisconsin on Sunday and Monday. It turned out to be a decent rainfall with most of southeast Wisconsin seeing around a half inch of rain by the time it wrapped up.
With the additional rain in Milwaukee it puts our September monthly rain total just over 2.50" which is still below the nearly 3" where the average sits. Unless we get a good soaking rain Tuesday or Wednesday the month will likely end below-average on rain.
After starting off dry with some sunshine Tuesday morning we see the clouds quickly arrive by late morning. Scattered but very light rain showers will roll in during the afternoon and evening. The showers could last a little later than they did on Monday with some lingering through about midnight.
Rain totals for Tuesday look very light with less than a tenth of an inch expected. We could get a little more rain Wednesday and Thursday with up to a quarter inch both of those days. Here is an idea of some rain totals through Wednesday night.
Wednesday early morning looks dry but some showers will be possible by mid to late morning lasting through the afternoon and evening. Wednesday night again looks dry with more scattered showers possible Thursday.
