MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The statewide tornado drill will be held on Friday, April 12, 2019.
At 1 p.m., a test tornado watch will be issued. At 1:45 p.m., a test tornado warning will take place and then be canceled at 2 p.m. Another test tornado warning will happen at 6:45 p.m. and end at 7 p.m.
Milwaukee County is also testing out a new emergency alert system. At 1:45 p.m. everyone in Milwaukee County will get a text on their phone testing out the alert system.
