State Senate Passes CBD Oil Bill

The Wisconsin State Senate passed the cannabidiol oil bill.

The bill from Republican Sen. Van Wanggaard would make it legal to possess cannabidiol oil with a doctor's certification.

The bill passed 31-1.

Senator Larson wanted CBD oil wanted it to be available in Wisconsin so parents didn’t need to cross state lines for it.

Senator Van Wanggaard People who are approved for CBD could travel to a state where it’s sold.

A similar bill passed the Assembly last year but stalled in the Senate, according to the Associated Press.
