State fair rides ready for fair-goers

There's more than 50 rides at the Wisconsin State Fair this year.

The rides are hand picked by state fair officials.

\"There's only six other fairs that do it the way we do it here, out of 2,500 fairs. We  basically hand pick all the best rides and games we can find.The way most fairs operate is they book what's called a core carnival operator. They will bring in one company that will provide all the rides and games,\" said Director of Event Services Adam Heffron.

All the rides are inspected several times before they are used by fair-goers.
