Standoff at Milwaukee motel ends peacefully

MILWAUKEE -- A standoff at a motel near the intersection of Appleton Ave. and Nash St. ended peacefully with the arrest of a 53-year-old armed robbery suspect.
Police say the 53-year-old man was wanted in connection with three armed robberies, two overnight robberies and one morning robbery.
When police tracked the man to the motel, he made it clear that he was armed and wouldn't come out. Eventually the man robbery suspect surrendered to police.
