MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The "luck of the Irish" is scheduled to return to Milwaukee on Saturday, March 9 for the 56th Shamrock Club of Wisconsin St. Patrick Day Parade, which is one of Milwaukee's oldest traditions.
Megan Kujawa, Marketing & Events Director for Westown Association, BID #5 along with Brigid Kinsella-Alba from Kinsella Irish Dance Academy joined us on Tuesday, Feb. 27 for a preview of what to expect at this year's parade.
Beyond the parade itself, there is fun scheduled before and after the event itself. The ShamROCK Kick-off Party will take place on Friday, March 8 at Lucky Clover Irish Pub from 5:30 - 9 p.m., featuring free entertainment and raffle prizes, while the Shamrock Club's Post-Parade Party will take place at the Irish Cultural & Heritage Center from 1:30 - 6 p.m., featuring dancing and more.
