MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- National Wrestling Alliance World's Heavyweight Champion "Thrillbilly" Silas Mason joined us Friday, Sept. 25 ahead of NWA Samhain: Part 4, taking place Sunday, Sept. 27 at Turner Hall in Milwaukee.
Mason talked about holding the NWA title for a year, a championship with a history that includes the Von Erichs as well as Milwaukee's own The Crusher. Also, what's the story behind being Zac Efron's favorite wrestler?
NWA Samhain Part 4 is also scheduled to feature NWA World Women's Champion Tiffany Nieves, NWA World Jr. Heavyweight Champion Hayden Backlund and several other titleholders. Doors open at 6 p.m., with the bell sounding at 7 p.m.
NWA owner Billy Corgan, also frontman of the Smashing Pumpkins, discussed the promotion earlier this week.
