Speed enforcement nabs 26 violators in 2 hours

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Acting Milwaukee County Sheriff Richard Schmidt ordered saturation patrols for seed enforcement as the freeway construction project continues. Motorists have continually been ignoring the slower speed limits in the construction zones.
In just two hours, deputies cited 26 violators, all traveling at speeds more than 15 mph over the posted limit.
Acting Sheriff Schmidt said, "Speeding on the freeway is dangerous, especially in the narrow, irregular lanes in the construction zones. I will continue these saturation patrols to discourage speed violators."
