Soggy weather continues into the weekend
It's the season for comfort food and a hearty plate of homemade spaghetti and meatballs sure sounds good.
Familes with the Pompeii Men's Club are preparing nearly 350 pounds of meatballs for the annual "Spaghetti with the Sisters" fundraiser.
It's a tradition at Milwaukee's St. Joan Antida High School dating back to 1955.
The recipe has been used nearly as long.
"This recipe was an original recipe," says Tony Lupo. "It was done about 40, 50 years ago."
The meal will be served from noon until 5 p.m. this Sunday, November 5th, at St. Joan near Cass and Ogden.
The cost is $10 and the money raise will help for work being done at the school. More information about the event including pre-ordering dinner can be found at: www.saintjoanantida.org/spaghetti
