Southwest plane grounded at Milwaukee's Mitchell International for second time this week

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- For the second time this week a Southwest plane has been grounded at Milwaukee's Mitchell International Airport.

Airport officials confirm a Southwest flight 1862 from Milwaukee to Denver encountered an issue with its nose-wheel after pushback from the gate this morning, Friday, April 1. Passengers were deplaned and taken back to the terminal to be accommodated on a different aircraft.

No one was hurt, and the incident did not impact any other flights.

On Tuesday March 29, MKE airport officials also confirmed that a Southwest flight had an emergency landing, no injuries were reported for that flight either.
