MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--Mother Nature is keeping us in winter mode until the bitter end. Look for a wintry mix for the first part of Saturday into the early afternoon. A slushy accumulation is possible, especially north and west of the metro. Then some improvements coming for the start of spring on Sunday. It begins at 10:33 am.
And speaking of snow, on average, the last 1" snowfall happens on March 26th. But there have been years we received an inch into May!! You just never know this time of year.
The nice weather won't last long. In fact another storm system by the middle of the week could give us more wintry mix Wednesday into Thursday. The end of the week looks a little better by the way.
