The severe storms and tornadoes we had at the end of last week brough some good rainfall to most of southeast Wisconsin. It put our total precipitation for the year at just over 10" which is good, but still not average. We are currently almost exactly an inch and a half below average.
Monday stays pretty dry as the rain stalls to our west along the Mississippi River but the clouds do arrive. After midnight Monday night we will start to see the rain showers arrive with better chances as we approach tomorrow morning. By mid-morning Tuesday most of southeast Wisconsin will see rain becoming steady and heavy around midday through the afternoon.
This will be a very soaking rain for most of southeast Wisconsin. On the low end rain totals will reach 0.75" to an inch of rain and on the high end closer to 1.50" or 2" of rain.
