WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- A Wisconsin brewery owner is under investigation by federal officials after a social media post.

The post by Minocqua Brewing Company was made after the White House correspondents' dinner shooting.

It mentioned a "free beer day" if the shooting had killed the President.

The FBI and U.S. Secret Service released a statement to CBS 58 saying in part:

"The U.S. Secret Service follows up on perceived threats against the President of the United States or any one of our protectees. The FBI and Secret Service together followed up on information received and conducted further investigative steps, which included a voluntary interview with the individual."

Officials say they have no further comment on the incident or investigation at this time.
