After a 10-day dry stretch for most of southeast Wisconsin our rain chances have finally arrived as we move into the weekend. As of Friday we are running well behind on rain for the month, season and year. August is almost an inch and a half below average, the summer months since June 1st are over an inch below-average and the entire year is running almost 2" below-average.
Friday morning we've been watching some showers around Madison with some decent rain moving in. The best chance for this morning rain will be in our northern counties then more isolated showers and storms possible Friday afternoon and evening.
Here's a current look at radar that will update with time:

While a few showers and storms are possible Friday most will only get a little with lots of dry time. The better opportunity for scattered showers and storms throughout the entire day will be Saturday.
There will be some dry time Saturday but the rain chance looks really good for most of southeast Wisconsin. A few lingering showers may be possible Sunday but we've been able to take out the rain chance on Monday.
By the end of the weekend most of southeast Wisconsin will pick up about 0.25-0.50" of rain but some isolated locations could see up to or around 1" of new rainfall.
