MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Dozens of people took advantage of the 70° weather before the weather shifts starting on Tuesday.
“We are going to have the crazy weather coming up so just taking in all the sun is really important,” said Rebekah Corbin.
People were lying out in their bathing suits and some were out running without their shirt.
“I love how people are coming out and welcoming spring, it’s like spring break in Milwaukee,” said Corbin.
Some people even jumped into the frigid lake. Anna Callahan ran from UW- Milwaukee to Bradford beach and jumped in.
“It’s like I got in a full ice bath, head to toe,” said Callahan.
They are taking in the sunshine before the shirt starting on Tuesday, there is even snow in the forecast for Wednesday.
“That’s just Wisconsin weather for you. You never know what’s going to happen. It’s like 70-80 one day and it can be 40 degrees the next day,” said Ross Perock.
